CMR to Manage Housing for Entertainment for All™ Expo

CMR has been selected by IDG World Expo to manage the citywide housing program for its newest event: Entertainment for All™ Expo (E for All Expo™), scheduled for October 18-20, 2007, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. There are currently 15 hotels in the official housing block with approximately 4,000 rooms projected on peak night.

The show will offer consumers the opportunity to test-drive the latest in games and gadgetry, as well as purchase products they enjoyed over the course of the 3-day event and at on-site retail facilities. Additional attractions in the works include high-profile videogame tournaments; job fair/networking opportunities; family-friendly offerings; and the acclaimed Video Games Live concert. The Expo will also take advantage of the soon-to-be-expanded LA Live area adjoining the LA Convention Center and Staples Center.

E for All Expo™ has been endorsed by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the U.S. association exclusively dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of companies that publish video and computer games for video game consoles, personal computers, and the Internet. ESA members collectively account for more than 90 percent of the $7 billion in entertainment software sold in the U.S. in 2005, and billions more in export sales of U.S.-made entertainment software.
