CMR to Manage Housing for Modern Language Association Annual Convention
Convention Management Resources has been awarded a 3-year contract to provide housing services for the Modern Language Association's Annual Convention.
The MLA's 123rd Annual Convention will take place December 27-30, 2007 in Chicago, Illinois. MLA's Annual Convention in Chicago will utilize 11 hotels for a peak night block of 5500 rooms.
Founded in 1883, the Modern Language Association of America provides opportunities for its members to share their scholarly findings and teaching experiences with colleagues and to discuss trends in the academy. With over 30,000 members in 100 countries, the MLA hosts an annual convention and other meetings, works with related organizations, and sustains one of the finest publishing programs in the humanities. For over a hundred years, members have worked to strengthen the study and teaching of language and literature.
