CMR has implemented virtualization in our production environment that provides continuity and load balancing for our Windows servers. The CMR.ez system is located on a separate file server equipped with RAID storage technologies.
All CMR data is backed up daily using a top-of-the-line NAS disk based backup strategy that is then backed up to tape for business continuity.
Production web servers are in a load balanced configuration for business continuity. In the event of a web server failure, traffic will be directed to the working web server while a back-up is being put in place for the failed server.
Network monitoring software alerts us to any problems, allowing us to quickly divert traffic to our back-up database and web servers. Transaction logs are dumped hourly in order to ensure maximum database recoverability.
